Thank You Imaginarium Designs

Thank you Imaginarium Designs for sponsoring our challenge this month.

Imaginarium Designs was created in late 2010 in Adelaide as we saw a need for some unique designs in the industry!
Chipboard is such an amazing medium to work with on Scrapbooking pages, projects, cards and so much more.
Our designers are everyday scrapbookers and cardmakers who design Chipboard specifically for everyday projects and we make sure that every design is perfect!
Not only do they have a website but also a facebook page, so please pop on over and say Hi.

Tag Your It!

Hello friends!

I'm back in today to share a little tag I made using a chipboard as my base, together with some watercolor techniques for Off the Rails Scrapbooking.

I used the Spring Frame from Blue Fern Studios as my base. I then cut out a piece of patterned paper from their Ombre Dreams collection. This time, I chose to leave my papers alone as the pretty colors on it help to contrast the frame and other elements.

Some closeups:

I took a saying from Kaiserkraft and used my mists to paint it to resemble the watercolor effects on the patterned paper. I also inked a piece of Fall Foliage chipboard with some chalk ink.

For the bird I painted with a brown mist and covered it with a layer of glossy accent. For the leaves and flowers, I first colored with also some mists, followed by light dabbing with some Texturez from Shimmerz.

That's all I have for today. Thanks for dropping by!
until the next time, happy crafting!

love,

Layout Tutorial with Jelissa

Hello friends!

I've just come back from a long break in Australia with my family, and I'm really excited to be back here to share a tutorial on how to create textured backgrounds.

Here is the layout:

I used the "Paradiso" collection from Kaisercraft, together with some knick knacks from their various collections.

Some close-ups:

Just love these flowers and how well their colours complement the palette I have chosen.

Creating layers with die-cut elements, chipboards and flowers.

Here's the start-to-finish video tutorial. Hope you enjoy what I have to share with you today!

love,
Jelissa
