Creating a Card In No Time

Hi there! Keeping to the lovely color scheme of September, I´m today sharing with you a REALLY fast AND easy card tutorial. Takes approximately 5-10 minutes to create this card :). And, by the way, this also is another possibility to use up those older products :).

This is what you will need: a card (in the size you prefer), some old letter stickers you would not use anywhere else anymore, a dauber ink, a spray ink, some stamps, a stamp ink and a clear acrylic block for stamping. Oh, and sequins with glue dots (forgot to add those to this photo, sorry!). You can of course use any color you like, I just kept to the September color scheme here too.

Now choose a sentiment you would like to have displayed on your card and assembly it on the card base using the letter stickers.

Next add some dauber ink (or watercolour or distress ink etc.) over the sticker sentiment, make sure it creates a relatively strong contrast against the card base colour.

Next add some color splatters with the spray ink you chose previously. You could of course skip this too, if you don´t like splatters :).

Next stamps random patterns here and there (over the sentiment and next to it) with the darker blue stamp ink.

Now remove the sticker alphas! That creates a nice "fake resist" sentiment onto the card. Should you get some uneven letter results, just correct them using a white pen. No one will notice :).

After that you can go on adding some embellishments if you want to. I added some golden sequins for more interest. Now the card is done.

This is how the finished card looks like. Easy peasy :).
Have fun creating!!
xoxo, Sanna
