Watercolour tutorial with Lisa

Hey Scrappy Friends!
Lisa here today to share a fun way to make watercolor embellishments for a layout, card or any project.

1. Gather your supplies: white cardstock, watercolors and a paint brush:

2. Paint colors in a line using colors of the rainbow. Make sure to overlap your colors:

Grab your punches. I used 2 different butterfly punches. You could use your diecut machine for this step as well:

Punch close together to get some of every color. When finished with a row, cut the negative piece off. You could save this and use it on another project!

Punch another row:

Here are all of my butterflies. I ended up punching a few more for what I wanted to do with them on my layout:

Here is my layout:

I added some buttons and mist between the butterflies in the rainbow colors:

I fussy cut my title, added a butterfly colored with Gelatos, some cork embellies and some enamel shapes:

I added a few banners and a fussy cut sub-title:

Here is a closer look at the butterflies:

I hope I have inspired you to dig out those watercolors and punches!
Thanks for sharing your day with us!
