Salty Breeze Frame with Tanya C

Hello, Tanya on the blog today sharing a tutorial on 
how I created this sea frame with our stunning July Rustic & Soft Mood Board!

YOU WILL NEED
Silhouette Cameo
Wooden Canvas Frame
Distress Ink Ground Espresso, Chipped Sapphire & Fired Brick
Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Powder Vintage Photo
Glossy Accents
Blue & White Acrylic Paint
FabScraps Summer Collection Paper Sheet C50 001 & 003
Red Floral Paper
White Cardstock
FabScraps Chipboard Word (Salty Breeze)
Flowers
Sea Sand, Shells, Grass & Starfishes
Picket Fence & Wood Ships Wheel
String & Gauze
Hessian Rope


INSTRUCTIONS
1. Paint the wooden canvas frame with blue paint
 and dry brush with white paint,

2. Cut the FabScraps sheet 003 to fit the canvas 
and ink the edges with distress ink. 
Cut a piece using the summer boys from 
FabScraps sheet 001 and ink these edges as well.

3. Adhere some guaze behind sheet 001.

4.Cut a pair of flip flops using the Silhouette from
white cardstock and the contrasting accents
from the red floral paper ink the edges with distress ink.
Add the flowers to the centre of both flip flops
and a shell in the middle of the flowers.
Adhere to sheet 003

5. Emboss the ships wheel with vintage photo.

6. Ink the middle section of chipboard
with ground espresso and the top and bottom section
with fired brick. Ink the edges with chipped sapphire.
Add glossy accents and leave to dry.

7. Add the chipboard word on top of ships wheel and then
adhere the string and starfish.

8. Glue the picket fence onto one side of the frame and
make sure that it stands to the front away from the back.

9. Add a thick layer of glossy accents to the
bottom piece of the frame covering the picket fence as well
 and sprinkle some sea sand to stick.

10. Remove excess and add the shells and starfishes and grass.

11. Use some hessian rope and make two knots at each end and
glue on top of  the frame, to be used as the handle.

12.All done! Ready to display!
