Hello everyone

Welcome back on the Off The Rails Blog and if you have not visited us before, we are just thrilled to have you here. Make sure you follow us for fabulous ideas and shares from the design team members all month long.

Today I'd like to share a quick tag I made, with the words be positive.

Firstly you need a kraft tag. Mine measured approximately 9 x 15 cm. Cut a piece of patterned paper to fit the inside of the tag, leaving a small border. (I used 7 Dots Studio paper). Ink the edges of your patterned paper using Archival ink.

Using black ink spray and a stencil, add some background colour to your tag. Then flip the stencil and use as a stamp to make use of access spray.

Add some molding paste through a word stencil. I used this Words of Wisdom stencil from Scrap FX.

Splatter the tag with acrylic paint. Use a paintbrush to add a tiny bit on your kraft sheet and spray it with water and  mix it through to create a more fluid liquid base. Splatter it onto your tag and repeat with some gold paint. Then also add a few spots of silver alcohol ink.

Spray some medical gauze with black ink spray.

Gather some tiny embellishments. I used a resin frame, feather and flowers and a prima resin face.
Paint the resin frame with black gesso. Once dry wipe some ink away with a wet wipe.

Paint the resin face and metal lamp with  Adirondack ink ink and acrylic paint.

Paint chipboard pieces with the same acrylic paint you previously flicked onto the tag. ( I chose to cut my chipboard in 2 pieces.)

Arrange your embellishments onto the tag and adhere with glue or gel medium. Add tiny bits of guaze in between to create texture.

Add some random stamping around your subject, using black Archival ink. Add some journaling words. I used some Tim Holtz stickers, with a bit of double sided foam underneath each word.

Use matte medium to add sequins and micro beads to finish off the end result.  Punch a hole at the top of the tag and set an eyelet. String through black organza ribbon. Voila, you are done.

I hope you enjoyed this time with me today and look forward to seeing your creations and variations on mine.

Till next time, enjoy being creative.
