Narelle's Tutorial - Easy water colour background

Today I wanted to share with you a quick tip on how to get an easy water colour effect for the background of your project. If you saw the pastel Christmas card I posted the other day, you would of noticed the water colour background. This is the technique I used to create that background.
Here is the card again, to refresh your memory.

This technique is so easy, and you only need a couple of things. You will need an acrylic block, some markers of your choice and a water spritzer. That's it.

Then you simply just colour in the acrylic block. I coloured my one in so it had large stripes of my chosen colours. But you could colour it any design you like.

Once you have finished colouring, you then spritz the block with water. Then place face down on your project.

This is the result. It will be a little wet, so if you are in a hurry, just dry it with your heat gun.

As you can see this is a very simple but effective technique. I hope you give it a try one day.

Thanks for dropping by.

Have a great day.
Cheers,
Narelle
