Super page using Washi tape and Stitching with Lisa

Hey there!
Lisa here today to share a fun tutorial with you. I decided to share a layout where I created a frame using washi tape and added some stitching. This is a fun and easy technique to use on your pages or cards.
I used my favorite washi tape- the black and white stripped- it's from Michaels. I also used Fancy Pants True Friend for my layout:

I created my grid using a photo and project life cards. Once I had those glued down, I just tore some washi tape and created a square around the grid. After I had that done, I used my sewing machine to add zig zag stitching around my frame. I love the texture this creates and it also helps secure my washi tape.

I choose to do the entire square with the black and white striped washi tape and used small pieces of the teal and white striped to fill in where the black and white was thin. You could do this with multiple colors of washi tape or create a few squares of different colors around the grid.

This is a great way to use up some washi tape stash!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Lisa
