Hey there scrappy friends!
I bet you have a myriad of boxes lying around,
waiting to be scrapped, right?
I wanted some to pop my OS stamps and air mail
stickers in. I'd already up-cycled a tin for my other stamps:
It keeps everything neat and tidy together & took very little effort!
I simply used PVC glue with paper, then smudged on some gesso
& added some trim & bits:
The 2nd box [for my OS stamps] had a hinged lid:
This paper had little rhinestones on it. They don't get in the way,
so I left them there!
Boxes make lovely presents, too. You can fill them with
all sorts of things - tea bags, chocolate or biscuits,
Or garden bits, make up, or even stamps would be great
for some people.... whatever their interests are!
These have a bit of a vintage vibe. But if you have other embellies
& papers you want to use up - use them! I made a memorabilia box for
a 17 year old boy. Totally different, but equally effective:
Hope this inspires you to get scrappy!!
