Tips Tutorial with Lizzy Hill

Good day my scrappy friends!
Lizzy with you today, sharing
a tips post for you.
Most of us have die cutting machines of some sort - be it a Big Shot, Sizzix, Cricut, Silhouette, or Brother Scan'n'Cut [my newest toy!], for example.
Here's what I do:
I usually have a 'cutting day'.
I'll often pop up words I want or need on my notice board, so I don't forget
which ones I want to cut, too:)

Then I pop them into individual bags:
And using a ring binder with A4 plastic sleeves, write on the front of each one
which words are in each pocket!
Works a treat. Oh, and mine are in alphabetical-ish order, so that makes is simple to find the words I'm looking for!

How do you store your die cuts/words?
Hope this gives you some ideas - Happy Scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

  1. Great tip Lizzy - you are so organised!
I store all my die cuts in a huge messy box that rarely gets used. But occasionally if I need a little something extra for a layout, I'll go there and normally find something to use.

  2. Great idea Lizzy.Mine are in a set of little drawers.

  3. Brilliant idea and so simple too!! OK .. why didn't I think of that?? I usually just dump them in a box and then forget where I put it!! LOL!! Love it Lizzy .. thanks for the tip! xx

  4. Well doesn't that simplify things! Thanks for sharing.

  5. Thanks for that Lizzy. My collection has only just begun, but your way sure beats the box I had mine in!!

  6. Fabulous idea Lizzy, I usually cut as i need them.. but then sometimes I dont use them so I have them all mashed up in a box....hehe!

  7. What a fabulous idea! Thanks for sharing!

  8. Super and neat idea! ;-) Makes for easy finding and storing! ;-)
