Learn With Luciana

Hello friends!!
Today we begin a new activity here on the blog!

I will give monthly tips, tutorials, or show new things relating to mixed media.
I will be very happy if you can comment and ask questions here, so we can do some interacting, okay?

Beginning today I will share a small tutorial.
I decorated the cover of my notebook, using some products and created a cool effect!

Let's start?

1 - Apply gesso with a brush on the cover. I used Super Heavy Gesso!

2 - Make a background using stamps. I used the Archival Ink pad.

  2. some great ideas there Luciana! thanks for sharing.
One question..what is the difference between plain gesso and heavy gesso??
Also did you need to spray fixative or anything like that over the gelato once done ?
I have a lot of gelatos but I can rarely get a result I'm happy with!! :)

    1. Hi Rosemary!
The difference is that the heavy gesso is thicker! I feel it is more white.
I hope it is clear to you, because I do not know if the translation was correct.
I do not use any spray to fix, but I think you can use some gel medium. This product is widely used for protection and finishing work. I never used it, and advise you to do a test before to see if the end result will please you.
      I hope this helps!
