How Lizzy Uses Her ATC's

...for those who don't know the term, it stands for Artistic Trading Cards, & they are little scraps of goodness measuring around 2.5 x 3.5", from memory!

HULLO!!! Lizzy with you today. I hadn't joined an ATC swap for ages, then saw one over at the IDEAL swap group....so thought I'd join in.
I had a ball following the criteria of 'winter' & something shiny....& made 10 of these:
Now, I'm one of those scrappy peeps who like things to be USEFUL...& often ATC's aren't....
...so when I make mine I try to think of a word or a design that can transfer to a card! This swap needed 8 cards - if you're making 8, then why not make a couple extra, & pop them right onto a card or two, I reckon!
Here's how they turned out:
Because the ATC is quite detailed with lots of design features - I kept the backgrounds simple - using up scraps again. Nothing like RIPPING into some old bits of paper, right???!!!!
So, if you're an ATC maker - or even if you aren't - this is a different way to approach card making:)
Hope you found something to inspire you in your crafting ~ happy scrapping ♥♥♥

  4. Love this idea Lizzy, it'd be such a shame for them not to be used in such a special way.
