I would like to introduce to you a special guest to our blog Carole Stedman.
Carole was the winner of the Geometric Card Challenge and the prize for winning that challenge was a Designer Hot Spot so we are going to share a little about Carole.
Q. Where do you Live?
A. I live in Albany, West Australia. A small town on the south coast famous for the whale migration each year.
Q. What is something Quirky about you?
A. I never considered myself quirky so I asked some friends what they thought. It is a toss up between my much younger husband or my pet rats which makes my life a little strange to others!
Q. What is your most loved scrapping supply
company
A. I mostly use Stampin' Up! products and became a Demonstrator over 5 years ago. The colour coordination between the cardstock, inks and patterned papers make creating so much easier. There isn't a craft store here except for Spotlight and I am not really an online shopper.
A. I learnt to knit and crochet as a child and still do both. I also cross
stitch. I took up paper crafts about 8 years ago, scrapbooking after my last
child was born and then discovered stamping a couple of years later and now I
make cards as well.
Q. A before and after photo
- One of you first cards that you ever made to the last one you have just
A. A before and after photo -I have always kept my style clean
and simple, but I have discovered layers are a great way to add dimension and
texture. These two cards follow the same sketch, but look very different when
you add in some layers, patterned papers and an embossed background, and
banners are hugely popular right now.
