March 2019
Morena scrapping friends from New Zealand. This month I am sharing two pages as I had these lovely family photos of my father and his brother and sister and I just couldn't choose between the two layouts.
Page one has fussy cutting from the page which was then overlaid. A little bling was added to lift the roses.
I have used sepia ink on both layouts to ink edges as sepia picks up the tone colour of the paper you are inking and enhances it.
Page two uses a layering effect on the left-hand side of the photo. The strips were punched on both sides and inked. Then layered on top of each other.
A bling flourish and a feather die cut were used to frame the photo.
A envelope was used on the right-hand corner of the layout to balance the page.
My tip this month is about fussy cutting. Use the glass of a photo-frame under the piece of paper to be fussy cut. You knife will move more smoothly and your paper will be less likely to catch and tear.
